The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level associate to join the Labor & Employment team in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office. We enjoy an outstanding reputation as a leading employment law firm, with strong credentials and experience counseling and representing management clients of all sizes on a wide range of employment matters-from Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) counseling and wage and hour litigation to employee benefits, executive compensation and international employment law issues.

About You:

  • You generally have 4-6 years of significant litigation experience, including brief writing for key motions, management of discovery (including drafting and responding to discovery), and (ideally) court appearance and deposition experience (taking and defending);
  • Your litigation experience ideally includes exposure to and substantive work on wage and hour and/or employment class action / PAGA matters;
  • You have employment counseling experience with a management-side law firm;
  • You have strong research and writing skills;
  • You are comfortable working on and managing multiple matters simultaneously;
  • You have strong communication, organization and time management skills; and
  • You have a JD degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials, and you are admitted in (and in good standing with) California or taking steps to become admitted in California.

Compensation:

  • $280,000-$320,000 annual base salary
