Job Description
Purpose of the Job

HH Global is seeking a Benefits Administrator who will be responsible for the compensation and benefits activities of the organization. They will work closely with our HR teams and Benefits Manager.

This position will be hybrid on-site in our Chicago Loop office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data, including monthly audits.
  • Ensures proper employee enrollment with carriers and processes life status changes.
  • Manage the leave of absence (LOA) operation with support from the HR Ops team in accordance with HH Global company policies and state and federal regulations.
  • Support yearly open enrollment, including communication, creation & distribution of materials, and HRIS system upgrades.
  • Support collection and analysis of benchmark data to determine competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs or benefit offerings.
  • Support benefits communication strategy to ensure employee understanding of plan offerings, policies, and important dates.
  • Evaluate processes and procedures for continuous improvement for benefits administration, including automation where possible .
  • Collaborate with the HR Ops team, including Payroll, HRIS, & Generalists to support the business employee life cycle.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track employee leave balances, including vacation, sick leave, and other paid time off.
  • Manage employee benefit related questions within the service desk and offer exceptional customer service.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • 2+ years of professional work experience in benefits, additional experience in compensation a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • CEBS or related certification preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Compensation & Benefits concepts and principles.
  • Experience administering established policies and procedures that may impact departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
  • Strong Excel skills, specifically with data analysis.
  • Experience working within fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Willingness to be hands-on.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
