Position Description


A’viand’s, a progressive, Minnesota-based Food & Services Management Company is currently seeking an hourly Cook/Supervisor for the kitchen at the LaSalle County Nursing Home, a 100 bed long term care facility in Ottawa, IL.


 


Responsibilities include:



  • Provide safe and secure supervision of food preparation and production


  • Maintain and adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by A’viands and LaSalle County


  • Oversee and maintain sanitation per A'viands and IDPH standards



 


Requirements:



  • Basic kitchen skills


  • Ability to read and follow a recipe


  • Cooking experience (preferably quantity cooking)


  • Hold a current IDPH food service sanitation certificate


  • Qualified applicants must pass a criminal background check to be eligible for this position.



 


Work Schedule:


We are currently seeking to fill 1 part-time position, along with 1 full-time position. Both positions require the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
