JOB SUMMARY: As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining reports on Tableau Server, including bug fixes, increasing performance of workbooks, and gathering and implementing feedback on any modifications needed.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Tableau dashboards and reports to support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives
2. Support performance, quality, and improvement efforts to help streamline processes through data analysis and visualization
3. Evaluate dashboard quality, consistency, usability, and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development
4. Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and describe data modeling decisions and data visualization strategy
5. Assist in Tableau Site Management including deployments and user and group management
6. Utilize SQL, and/or Python in data analytics to collect, understand, transform, cleanse, store, and share data in a privacy-preserving way
7. Assist in testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation efforts
8. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
10. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
This position works independently under general supervision to complete the assigned job responsibilities. Work performed is often varied and complex requiring a reliance on a knowledge base built through experience. The incumbent follows established procedures and uses knowledge of the Company's general business principles, industry dynamics, market trends, advanced math and analytic technologies and specific operation details when performing the duties of the position as assigned.
