Position Summary
The Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non tenure-track position in Occupational Therapy, to begin January 2023. The successful candidate will join a team of faculty in the ACOTE accredited Masters in Occupational Therapy program and will assist in the development of the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program. An ongoing or developing scholarly agenda within the context of health care and occupational therapy, such as social determinants of health, health informatics, health equity, or scholarship of Occupational Therapy education is of particular interest. The graduate clinical degree programs in the of School of Education and Health Sciences provides interprofessional education opportunities with the Physician Assistant Studies, Athletic Training, and Physical Therapy program faculty and students in our state of the art health professions education facilities.

Doctoral degree (e.g., OTD, PhD, DSc, EdD, DHSc) required; current Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure or eligibility required; teaching at the collegiate level in a doctoral program preferred; experience teaching in an online or blended format preferred. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship.
