Description

STV has an exciting opportunity for aDocument Controls Leadtoperform Document Control duties under the direct supervision of the Project Controls Manager in our Chicago, IL office, as a part of the Centers of Excellence division. This role will have an impactful focus on datacenters and other leading projects.

You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, as the need requires, potentially including:

  • Process project documents and maintain document control files in accordance with project document control procedures.

  • Prepare transmittals, distribute documents, and retrieve documents in both electronic and hard copy formats.

  • Assist the Project Controls Managers and the Project Team in all matters relative to project documents and the control and distribution of documents.

  • Scanning, indexing, linking, electronic filing and distribution of documents in Kahua, SharePoint or other Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).

  • Responsibilities includes internal and external to project participants distribution of correspondence, technical submittals, field memos, drawing logs, project reports and photos, Requests for Information, and contract plans, specifications and change documents.

  • Responsible for proper handling, storage, and distribution of Protected Information.

  • Editing/proofing and document production for project deliverables, as needed

  • Collecting, recording, distributing, and managing meeting notes, agendas, and supporting documentation.

  • Filing,formatting, printing, binding, and labeling documents, if needed.

  • Researching project records, technical documents, information, and data for project pursuits.

  • SupportingAccounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as requested by local Project Managers for invoicing.

  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed

  • Occasional travel to other STV offices to support office functions and projects.

Hardware/Software Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office Suite of software is required. Expertise in Excel required. Experience with Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat is required.

  • Experience with implementation and utilization of Document Control Software is preferred, experience with Kahua is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience with routine Document Control hardware and software, such as scanners.

Required skills and attributes include:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

  • High school diploma required, relevant Associate degree (AA, AS, AAS, AGS) preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficient inall Microsoft applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Self-directed with the ability to workunder pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to multitask and communicate status and progress effectively.

  • Ability to plan and coordinate own personal work efforts and assignments to meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and ability to apply knowledge.

  • Ability tomaintain sensitive and confidential documents and information.

Compensation Range:

$81,052.00 - $108,069.00
