Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Medical Coding Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting top-tier medical coding professionals to meet the staffing needs of our clients. The Medical Coding Recruiter will play a critical role in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates while providing exceptional service to both candidates and clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements for medical coding positions.
  • In addition to recruiting for medical coders you will also recruit for roles throughout the organization.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience related to medical coding.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidates' fit for specific positions and assess their technical proficiency in medical coding.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Facilitate the negotiation and offer process, including salary discussions and finalizing employment details.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to medical coding recruitment.


?Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter in the medical coding industry.
  • Experience recruiting for all levels of positions within an organization with an emphasis on professional level roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical coding principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
