Our Analyst will provide commercial support for low carbon business development initiatives in the US., particularly the U.S. Gulf Coast.

What you will do:

  • Under the mentorship of mid-level and senior staff within the group, the Analyst will be accountable for the following activities:

  • Provide support and assistance for the management of varied business development projects.

  • Aid in the creation & ongoing maintenance of monthly reporting for Department, project, and assets, including KPI management, risk management, issue identification and recommended actions.

  • Help drive customer engagement and business development efforts by supporting management with materials preparation and hosting & administrative activities for customer and partner meetings.

  • Support a portfolio of projects, under the management of more senior group members of US based low carbon energy and carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects ranging in complexity and cost ($25MM - $6.5B) through the project lifecycle from conception to in-service with a focus on budget and schedule and adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Support in the completion of necessary commercial and operating agreements such as Letters of Intent, Preliminary Cost Agreements, Financial Support Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Transportation Service Agreements and Interconnection Agreements.

  • Analytical support to assess the financial viability of projects by applying strong business knowledge and financial ability to ensure enhancement of shareholder value.

  • Compile and analyze market information in support of identifying new business opportunities in the low carbon energy and CCS space.

  • Support commercial component of business proposals presented to senior management and/or the Board of Directors for approval by assisting with gathering, developing information, and developing communication material.

  • Interact with internal Enbridge stakeholders in furtherance of business development initiatives.

Who you are:

  • You have a university degree, preferably in engineering or business.

  • A strong financial and business outlook along with organizational and analytical skills.

  • Have a high degree of personal initiative and responsibility to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner and with a strong attention to detail.

  • Show the ability to develop significant relationships with external customers to identify business opportunities for Enbridge as well as internal collaborators in support of project proposals.

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong interest in learning about energy transition/low carbon projects.

  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
