Job Description

Position: Intern - Digital Marketing

Reports To: Director of Certifiably Diverse

Location: Remote

Type: NonSCA, Part-time (<30 hours per week)

Schedule: M-F, 9-5 pm with flex for class schedule

PAY: $15-18/hr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern with a keen interest in Google Ads and Google Analytics to join our dynamic marketing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in digital advertising and analytics within a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving our digital marketing campaigns to success. Moreover, this internship has the potential to open doors to future career opportunities in the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, particularly in Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to achieve company objectives, including brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, utilizing Google Analytics and other relevant tools to analyze traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for campaign improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align Google Ads strategies with overall marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing A/B testing strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging and relevant ad copy and visuals.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, especially related to Google Ads and Analytics.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Appearance: All personnel shall be attired in business casual clothing for daily work. Attire worn should always ensure employees' safety from working conditions (long pants, appropriate shirts, and closed-toe shoes as required); on occasion, staff may be required to wear a business dress for certain activities.
