Your Future Team

The Revenue Billing team consists of a Billing Manager, three Senior Analysts, and an Analyst, who work together to handle quarterly billing calculations, custodian submissions, generating invoices, reconciling fees processed, project-based activities, and servicing our Advisor community. You will report to the Billing Manager and help ensure the completion of daily activities, handle escalations, and lead process improvement plans. Our team calculates and collects quarterly revenue from 130+ advisory businesses. The company recently migrated to a new billing engine and advisory fee review porta, and there are continued enhancements in the pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements- Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E Experience, Commitment, and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter
  • Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
  • Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience
  • Lead activities in the quarterly billing process
  • Calculation of fees for billing
  • Produce and remit quarterly invoices
  • Daily submission of fees/rebates to custodians
  • Reconciliation work around fee submission and cash collections
  • Account termination processing
  • Management and tracking of invoices, collections status, and reconciliation to the subledger
  • Communicate with internal and external individuals as it relates to billing, collection, custodial, and invoice activities
  • Work with the Accounting team to ensure accounts receivable posting and reconciliation
  • Work with several teams (Operations, Client Reporting, Technology) to understand the upstream and downstream impacts of important billing activities
  • Work directly with advisors in order to answer questions related to billing calculations
  • Navigate through multiple systems to understand and reconcile billing calculations

What You'll Bring

  • 2 + years of billing, accounts receivable or similar experience; financial industry experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
  • Team player, with a high degree of responsibility
