Position Summary
The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a full-time lecturer faculty position within our Health Science major beginning August 1, 2024. This position will be responsible for the teaching of courses in the Health Science major, which will include a combination of Community Health, Epidemiology in the Health Sciences, Health Literacy and Cultural Competency, and Leadership in Healthcare. Selection of the courses to teach will be dependent on Departmental need combined with candidate interest and experience. Candidates should demonstrate potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.

This 9-month, Full-Time Lecturer position is open immediately. Teaching responsibilities include 24 credit-hour load with the Health Science curriculum.

Qualifications: Candidates possessing a doctorate degree in the Health Sciences or a related discipline are preferred but ABDs, and candidates with a master's degree plus college-level teaching experience are also encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship.
