Provide skilled front office and clinical support to the physician practice and serve as a liaison between the physician and patient to coordinate care. When required, provides direct patient care by working collaboratively with the care team. Functions as a member of the patient's ambulatory care team while delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring patient safety, privacy and loyalty. Provide healthcare services under the direction of the Practice Manager and/or designee, and physicians.

Duties

• Knowledge and demonstration of NCH customer service standards

• Knowledge of and compliance with Federal, State and local laws that apply to the job's area of responsibility

• Knowledge of and compliance with NCH policies and procedures that apply to the job and area of responsibility

• Ongoing growth and development from participation in events such as workshops, in-service programs and departmental meetings

• Provide service based on physical, psychological, educational and related criteria appropriate to the age and type of the patients/customers served in their area

Minimum Formal Education Required:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

CPR Certification through American Heart Association
