We are currently searching for an experienced Sr. Manager of ERP / Information Systems for our client. The role offers a competitive base salary, bonus, PTO, benefits, and 401k.

As an expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), the Sr. Manager of Information Systems will plan, coordinate, manage, and design all operational activities of the ERP platforms supporting our client's two North American businesses Additionally, this individual will oversee the evolution of IS support to enable our future global business system platform "Summit" comprised of D365 CRM, D365 ERP, & Oracle CPQ.

The Sr. Manager of Information Systems will demonstrate global leadership and authority including resource allocation, project management, software development life cycle management, system integration, testing, interface facilitation, and analysis.

The Sr. Manager will work closely with IT Directors and Senior Management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.

The Sr. Manager should be comfortable with a high-visibility role in Information Technology with a proven track record of results.


Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead & manage a team focused on ERP service & solution delivery.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including key business area owners, other IT professionals, & IT vendors to align solutions and service delivery with business goals.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management:
    • Provide strategic guidance in the support and maintenance of both businesses' ERP platforms (JD Edwards & Great Plains).
    • Lead the deployment and design of changes within our client's core systems platforms.
    • Identify gaps between the current and future state of business processes and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
    • Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and ways to remain compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Oversee end-to-end support of businesses' systems platforms.
    • Identify trends and proactively resolve gaps, researching and resolving system problems.
    • Foster a celebrated customer experiencedelivering a right-sized support model through an internal team supplemented with outsourced partners.
    • Train and develop team members on new processes/functionality and delegate the training of new system users.
  • Governance & Continuity
    • Ensure IS processes (change control, access, etc.) adhere to corporate G3 controls.
    • Own end-to-end application lifecycle of the core systems within both businesses ensuring necessary upgrades are planned and executed.
    • Own and maintain disaster recovery plans for both core systems including the orchestration of annual DR tests with the supporting Infrastructure & Operations team.

Requirements:
  • 5 years + ERP System management, experience with JDE World is required
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen and engage with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external to a project)
  • Excellent oral/written communication, which brings clarity and precision at all levels within the organization
  • Customer and results-oriented mindset
  • Organizing and planning skills with a strong eye for detail

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
