Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Elmhurst Center for Health, 429 N York Rd, Elmhurst IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time

  • Hours: Monday - Friday

  • Required Travel: Will float to other locations

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Rehabilitation Discipline from an accredited school

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a clinician

  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills, as well as positive attitude, flexibility, vision, energy, and a strong commitment to empowerment of the team

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and projects with strict time constraints

  • Current State of Illinois license in the appropriate Rehab discipline

  • Current CPR certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross

  • Master's Degree, preferred

  • Minimum of one year of previous supervisory experience, preferred

  • Proven track record of effective leadership clinicians, and support staff as well as a proven ability to resolve workplace challenges, preferred

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office software, clinical research, pathway development, public speaking, and teaching - preferred

What you will do:

In addition to meeting the performance standards of a clinician in area of specialization, the Supervisor provides leadership to Rehabilitation Services programs within assigned areas.Serves as a key communicator and liaison for staff in assigned areas. Recruits and selects new staff, assures efficient staffing based on volume. Coaches, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates performance of staff in assigned areas.Plays a key role in program development and marketing of new programs.Prepares statistical reports.Participates in the preparation and administering of budgets for assigned areas.

Participates in the design, development and implementation of the clinical process and outcome initiatives for Rehabilitation Services, consistent with the quality management structure at EEH. Actively supports the organization's and the department's quality improvement and customer service goals through modeling of appropriate behavior and by providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.

Provides direct services to patients at a level of productivity assigned by the manager.
