Job Title

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving the growth of all Amadeus Hospitality solutions for key existing and potential customers in the North Central Region of the United States. The position is remote and the ideal candidate will be based near the Chicago metro area.

In this role you will:

  • Build deep, strategic relationships across the customers' organization
  • Focus on continued penetration of territory prospects by acquiring new customers across all Amadeus Hospitality solutions
  • Ensure annual renewals/retention and new business targets across assigned accounts areachieved
  • Create strategic accountdevelopment plans that reflect planned penetration of new accounts as well as expansion of partnerships with existing customers.
  • Create opportunities via consultative sales and relationships throughout customer organization including C-level
  • Lead campaign developmentand follow-up
  • Work with your Product Specialists to manage opportunity identification, proposaldevelopment,price quote and negotiation through closing the sale
  • Execute locally on corporate product endorsements with customer base
  • Create and maintain strong internal relationships with Amadeus key stakeholders and engage therightteam members to ensure customers are receiving optimal value
  • Build necessary new business pipeline to meet assigned KPIs and sales goals
  • Work with the Customer Success Management Team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, owning the overall renewal process
  • Represent Amadeus in the local market via involvement in local industry associations and speaking engagements

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience within tech, marketing, hospitality or BI sales
  • 5+ years of experience In Sales or Sales Leadership within the Hospitality Industry preferred
  • Ability to influence senior level executives
  • Strong presentation/communication skills
  • History of sales over-achievement and creating a collaborative environment
  • High energy and passionate
  • Strong people skills and the ability to adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and gain the trust and respect of prospects, customers, colleagues and team members
  • Amadeus solutions experience and/or tech sales experience preferred
  • Strong network within hospitality industry highly preferred
  • Competent in Salesforce or similar CRM
