The Corewell Health School Nursing Program improves educational outcomes by reducing student absenteeism through nursing resources that manage acute illness, injury, and chronic health conditions. Short-and medium-term goals target chronic absenteeism and reading readiness. Long-term goals include improving rates of graduation, workplace readiness and college entry.
Nurses and health aides will train and work alongside district staff to:
Scope of work
Plans, organizes, and supervises all assigned clinical and program services and staff. Ensures appropriate supervision and case consultation for clinical and non-clinical staff including overseeing and supporting professional staff development. Supervises within established clinical quality standards and quality management plan protocols.
There is an expectation of travel within the Muskegon and Montcalm ISD locations. You may be required to fill in for vacancies based on staffing needs.
