Job Summary:

As the Sr. Analyst, IT Internal Controls, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with access to leadership, administrate a state of the art connected risk platform, and execute the strategy utilizing the framework established. This role is responsible for providing risk management and guidance for information technology systems and processes and ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of IT controls, as well as developing and implementing solutions to improve IT performance. This position will need to be self-driven with the ability to complete tasks timely with a high degree of quality with direction, with limited direct involvement from their Manager. In addition, this position will interact with all levels of the organization, including employees in international locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT audit, IT control, IT risk, or IT compliance roles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in IT control frameworks and standards such as COBIT, COSO, ISO, NIST, PCI, SOX, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience in IT domains and technologies, such as network, database, application, cloud, security, etc.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, written or verbal

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Attention to detail and quality orientation

Other: 25% travel including international

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CPA, or equivalent

  • External audit, fraud investigation, public company or public accounting (national) firm

  • ITGC; SAP Governance Risk & Compliance; SOX; knowledge of NIST, ISO

  • 27000 or ITIL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the information systems supporting business processes and the risks associated with those areas.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to perform IT risk assessments and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls and identify gaps and weaknesses.

  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify the compliance of IT systems and processes with internal and external policies, standards, and regulations.

  • Provide recommendations and action plans to remediate IT control deficiencies and enhance IT control efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Track and report on the status and progress of IT control remediation activities and track issues to closure.

  • Monitor emerging IT risks and provide input to IT risk management on potential impact.

  • Support the development and implementation of IT control frameworks, methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff and stakeholders on IT control requirements and expectations.

  • Coordinate all aspects of scheduled internal audits.
