The Mechanical and Plumbing Lead serves as lead mechanical technician providing a high level of technical support and expertise to the staff in the Mechanical Unit. The Lead provides daily oversight of team activities and provides direct guidance and follow-up of work requests, troubleshooting and escalated HVAC and plumbing related issues. Responsibilities include performing all scheduled and on-demand maintenance activity of all HVAC, plumbing, medical gas and steam related systems. The Lead ensures maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability of all HVAC, plumbing and steam related equipment; orders repair and replacement parts and supplies; and contacts and coordinates vendor repairs and maintenance. Position's lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to, determining and setting priorities for team; completing work assignments; instructing and reviewing the work of team; resolving problems and conflicts; performing supervisory duties for two or more employees with final accountability/oversight remaining with the supervisor who is responsible for delegating the lead assignments.

Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $64,977.54 to $97,466.31Benefits Information
