Loan Officer - Clinton
AgCarolina Farm Credit is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer at our location in Clinton, NC. In this role, the Loan Officer will work independently to originate and service loans, market financial services, and develop strong working relationships with our customers, while growing our business in their assigned territory. This role will report to the Branch Manager.

How you will impact AgCarolina Farm Credit:
- Actively participate and seek lending relationships with existing customers and new customers
- Coordinates applications for branch-referred new and existing customers
- Develop and analyze all types of credit information
- Use delegated authority to approve loan structures, pricing, and conditions on loan transactions
- Evaluate risk of loan transactions and assign probability of default and loss given default, ensure credit quality
- Ensures loans are in compliance with Association's policies and procedures
- Collaborate effectively with team members and neighboring departments
- Remain active in community and industry events
- Demonstrate a commitment to fair lending practices
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with others to enhance the Association's reputation in the market

What you need to succeed:
- Education and/or experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or agricultural economics
- Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiating and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented and excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Computer experience with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Travel within AgCarolina Farm Credit's territory and outside the territory for training from time to time
- Agricultural background preferred
- Lending experience preferred
